After updating to 10.8.3, I noticed a box appear in the upper left corner of the screen and it just won't go away, no matter what settings I punch in. Also, the overall performance seems to have worsened to occasional slowdowns.

Anybody else experiencing this?

I have the 17" 2010 Macbook Pro (GT 330m 512MB).

Cheers.

Have you checked your settings to ensure the 330M is the one running, and not your integrated chipset? We've seen that issue on the HD3000, but not really on the 330M. Generally speaking, we've seen small performance bumps since 10.8.3, so there may be something else going on. Have you started a support ticket with us yet? We can load up your save game and run a sweep here and/or dig in a little further to help out.

Hi Blair,

I have disabled the automatic card switching, so the 330m is used at all times.

Honestly, I thought it might be known issue and I would not need to bother you with a support ticket.:)

I see now that I will have to. One support ticket incoming.:D

Cheers.

Thanks for submitting a ticket! It really helps us narrow down issues like this, and I'm sorry you are having to deal with the bug.

I was actually part of the test team that worked on our original Mac version of EaW. I friggin LOVE that game.
