OS X Empire Total War: I need help (feral please ?)

Helloooo everyone, I play the TW series on my mac 10.8.4, and I have been experiencing problems on Empire Total War Gold BOX edition: so I bought, insered the disk and installed the game on my mac, the game runs fine etc etc... BUT ! Some units normally included in the Gold edition (G.E) version are NOT present in campaign. And the ones I miss the most are the 1st Maryland, 2nd New York and 1st or 2nd Delaware regiments, available for the US. In customer battles, I'm able to purchase them and play with them, but not in The Road To Independence Campaign :( . When I go to the technologies I see that this particular technology gives me access to these units, but when the building is constructed none of them are available. This bothers me a lot, and I hope someone can help me with: really, any help is very much appreciated !

P-S: Does anyone know if Darthmod works on Mac now ? :confused:

Yes but you have to install it and get it working yourself no Mac installer for lazy modders :) A few forums have manual instructions but if you cannot be bothered with all that then you will have to wait as I am crazy busy on new games and have very little modding time.

May I ask what is the link for ? (The download link.)
I downloaded it, so do I have to do anything or is it going to be applied once I launch the game ? Thank you !

Open the downloaded dmg volume and read the "ReadMe". :)

It's pretty simple ;) You double click on the installer and it will update your game data with a new file unlocking some of the missing elite units. This fix will only effect NEW games, your old save games cannot be fixed once you have started playing.
