According to the news, iPhone 12's screen refresh rate is limited to 60hz by software. So can we enable ProMotion after jailbreak or just calling a hidden API?

Isn't it still unconfirmed if the phone's hardware allows for 120hz? I know there were rumors, but there were also rumors that not every phone would receive mm 5G too. And have we historically had enough low level access to modify hardware behavior, such as refresh rate for a display, even with a jailbreak? I haven't been in the jailbreak game for that long, but thought there wasn't one available for the iPhone 11 line up, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Do you really think Apple, who decided to save a few dollars by not including a power adapter and EarPods, will be leaving expensive and unused hardware in the iPhone? Something they will be shipping millions of units of?

This is about as likely as Apple putting in 8GB RAM but enabling only 6GB.
