Enable "Hey Siri" on AirPods 2 only

Hi guys, maybe you know...:

I would like to enable "Hey Siri" on AirPods 2 only, i.e. without having the iPhone react to "Hey Siri" when the AirPods are in their charging case. Is that possible?

My understanding is that it's tied to the same setting on the phone...If it's enabled, then it's on for both...if it's disabled...disabled for both...unfortunately...

There should be seperate settings.....
