So I enabled tethering on the iPhone by downloading the new profile, but my VVM is now gone. Anyone know a solution to this? Also I supposedly downloaded the profile which kept VVM in-tact from iPhoneAlley...so ya idk.

If you're on ATT, try using acds.voicemail for the APN in the visual voicemail section. Leave username and password blank. This worked for me after I updated my ipcc to 5.0

Where do I go and change this? I looked in Settings>General>Profile, and there is no area to edit the APN, and how did you update your ipcc? I just download the profile from iPhone Alley and installed it. :/ Thanks!

Go to Settings>General>Network>Cellular Data Network>

VVM section should be there.

Thats why I couldnt see it...because I am not unlocked and ATT does not allow the editing of the APN settings.

All I see within Settings>General>Network is: Enable 3G, Data Roaming, Internet Tethering, VPN, and WiFi

This is all you need to do.

Go to SETTINGS.....GENERAL

Scroll all the way to the bottom and click RESET

Click RESET NETWORK SETTINGS

Done.

In order for you to get the "Cellular Data Network" Option in General:Network, you need to upload the AT&T 5.0 Carrier settings .ipcc file.
