Sadly I cracked my iPad Pro screen and it costs $500 to replace the screen. iPad itself works fine but screen is blank. And I have this portable LCD screen I can connect to my iPad Pro (via thunderbolt) to use it as a screen, but it's little difficult to accurately navigate because there is no cursor on the portable LCD screen if I drag my finger on the broken iPad touch screen. If I connect bluetooth mouse or trackpad, the cursor shows up and works great. I am hoping there is a way I can trigger that cursor with my finger too so I don't have to carry/use external mouse/trackpad. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

As of right now, I don't think there are any ways to use the cursor while in touch mode.

No, you can't do it - it needs the pointing device.
