A few months ago, I purchased this hard drive along with a USB enclosure to use as an external hard drive. By the way, this was back when my PC was my primary computer. Then, I got my iBook and now use this almost exclusively. Since I've had computer problems in the past with some of my PCs, I always try to back up my data from time to time. So, I looked into the ability to boot from an external hard drive, which I thought would be awesome. However, I soon found out that this ability is only possible using Firewire. Now, I'm looking into a good Firewire enclosure to put my hard drive into. Any recommendations?

By the way, if possible, the most I would like to spend is $50. If you think that that is too little, then that's because I've been shopping Newegg for a while, replacing crappy PC parts that came with my Compaq desktop. But if you find one that happens to be a little bit more expensive, don't hesitate to post the link. I'm always willing to consider different options.

I'm liking Newer Technology's miniStack. All the pictures show it with the Mac Mini, but can it be used with any Mac?
