Encrypted Notes ?

Can someone please help me ? I have spent endless hours researching this to no avail.
All I want to do is be able to have an app that requires me to enter a password to get me in. Once I get in I want to make a list in a note pad that requires me to use a password or phrase to encrypt it. I will not be sharing this note or sending it. The note is strictly for my use. When I want to re-read my note I have to enter a password to open the app but to read the scrambled (encrypted) note I need to re-enter a phrase or code to decrypt it.
Is this possible ?

I don't know of an app that has such "double security". Curious...what's the reasoning behind separate passwords for each note?

Hi Brian, not really necessary but I was hoping to find a way to protect a note so to get into the app you need to sign in but then you can encrypt the note so if someone did figure out the password the note would appear scrambled similar to using GPA encryption. Not sure if I'm explaining that correctly, does that make any sense ?
