Engineers of macrumors: How hard is it for apple to launch a M3 refresh for all macs?

I don't understand why it seems hard to just put the M3 inside of a Mac Mini, Macbook air at the same time as macbook pro. Eeryone knows it's coming and it seems ot be worse for apple for theri consumers to stop buying these other computers since they are expecting an update.

So it begs the question, why does apple always stagger releases of silicon updates across their hardware lineup? is it that much more challenging?

Nope, it's not challenging for Apple. However, it eases supply chain logistics, spreads out revenue, and keeps the PR apparatus running well.

Even if TSMC and the rest of the supply chain could keep up, I think Apple would still spread out their releases for the sake of their balance sheet and quarterly earnings reports
