Tied in with Siri Shortcuts, Siri Suggestions got enhancements in iOS 12. We were supposed to start seeing lockscreen/notification screen suggestions from both Apple and 3rd party apps. Things like: "I see you always buy coffee at 8 am on Tuesdays" or "you always order from the deli on Thursdays, would you like to right now?"

I've seen absolutely nothing like this yet and my guess is one of 2 things is happening: (1) developers are not adopting the "intent donation" model necessary to do this or (2) I haven't done enough things at consistent times for Siri to get a read on things yet.

What are all of you seeing?

Had exactly zero of those. I know they're supposed to show up (esp. with the Home App) - they were on my watch Siri face at some point on iOS 11, but I'm getting none whatsoever.

I've read that this happened to quite a few people who were on the beta before, have you been on the beta?

I was on the beta from Day 1. I get a few innocuous ones to join conference calls, but those just pull straight from my calendar, not based on heuristics. Very disappointed.

I was seeing these Siri shortcut suggestions throughout the beta period but I just checked and nada.

Just so we're clear: I'm talking about the kind below, not the kind that are potential shortcuts and show up in Siri & Search:

Ah. In that case I've never seen any at all. I didn't even know it existed to be honest.

In a way it doesn't surprise me. It's been what, 3 or 4 years since apps could edit a file in place without making a copy and most apps still don't implement it.

You can see the current suggestions (and your existing shortcuts) under Settings > Siri & Search. I haven't seen any prompted suggestions. I imagine they are waiting a bit for app support to trickle in otherwise the suggestions won't be that great.

If you don't have app support they might use the 3D touch shortcuts as well. It's mostly the built in apps for now.

I don’t want to be a curmudgeon, but not 2 posts above yours, I said I was NOT asking about Siri Shortcuts.

I have seen that for Siri suggesting I should call back someone who’s call I have missed. I see that pretty consistently on missed calls from people who are in my contacts. Had one today in fact.

I get a bunch in spotlight. The only ones I’ve got on the lock screen is missed calls. Apps need to get updated and I believe to show a suggestion on the lock screen is has to be an “important” one and something you do really frequently.

Very similar. In spotlight I’ll get suggestions to open a note that I often open in AM Or a website I open every AM. In the late afternoon there is often one to text my wife. However on the notification screen missed calls or dial into meeting instructions only.

Overall you can see how the whole shortcut thing will develop. Useful as is but a ways to go before it’s killer

The dial into a meeting one was appearing on the lock screen for me a few days ago but now can only view in Siri search

Sorry for the necro, but has anyone got this feature working.
I have only seen a single call back notification one month ago.

I got it working they did a server side fix but thy might have just been for me only I’m not sure maybe leave them feedback I can’t Siri working on the Mac when I click it just makes a beep

Not really. I get a conference call notification but nothing else. This has been very disappointing.

I have one that appears for Sofa Score App. While one of my favorite teams plays, I get a notification of the lockscreen to open the favorite page in the app and see the scores.

I have a few when I swipe down from the springboard to show Spotlight. They're all of course based on my habits, and the most common are:
- call back someone if I missed a call;
- text someone I usually text around that time of the day;
- open my Photos album (I take a lot of pictures and manage it all the time, so it makes sense);
- turn on my most used alarm clock;

I admit I would prefer having some of those showing up in the lockscreen, even if I dismiss them. Having to go to the Spotlight menu is kind of a missing-it turnaround...

I am. I consistently go to the store around noon on sundays and access my grocery reminder list. Today I got this

I had to get up at 0400Hr this morning to drive my girlfriend to the airport and last night I got a Siri-suggestion: "It seems you have an early appointment tomorrow. Don't forget to set an alarm!" and there was a small arrow next to it. Tapping the arrow opened a new alarm an hour before the appointment and it used the title of my event in the calendar.

Forgot to take a screenshot...
