Did anyone else loose all their saved games when updating?
I've noticed this is a big problem when applications update. All the data for the application is stored with the app, so any update/reinstall wipes all the data the application stored. This may not be a big problem for small apps, and just be a minor annoyance for games, but when people start relying on third-party todo applications and such, when they loose their data, it's going to be a major headache.

I just did the Enigmo update (took quite awhile) and it kept all of my saved games in place, so all looks good with this update (at least for me.)
Did you do you update OTA or through iTunes?
I did mine OTA and have lost my saves games! I was on level 35!!!!
I did mine through iTunes and lost my saved games, so it appears it can happen both ways.
i updated through the AppStore on my iPod Touch and it kept my game save and i'm glad cause i beat the game and i didn't feel like doin' it again.
i'm pretty confused with the whole updating process. if someone could help me out that would be great. When i go into the app store and go to updates it says all apps are up to date, but i have never updated enigmo. So where do i go to do the update? When i go to the enigmo page in the app store if i click the price tag it turns green and says buy now...but i've already bought the app. Where do i go to update?
The same thing happened to be for the facebook update, for which i uninstalled the program and then reinstalled the program for the update to get the update, but i don't want to do that for enigmo because i'll lose my data for sure then.

I updated through iTunes only because I have never had an update show up on the iPhone's App Store. The other day iTunes said I had 7 updates and I thought that would be a good opportunity to try out the iPhone's OTA updating, but when I went to the App store on the iPhone and clicked "Updates" it said all apps are up to date! So not sure what's going on here but I just update through iTunes.
so i went onto itunes and checked for updates, downloaded them, then removed the apps from my phone and resynced them...do i know have the newer versions? How can i tell besides if I can notice changes made. For example, how do i know i have the enigmo update...i dont see a version number anyway and the changes were only code changes.
"Loose" their saved games? How do you "loose" a saved game? Do you keep it in a box and drive it out to the middle of nowhere and then let it loose?
For some reason installing updates to games means you lose (one "o") saved games - it sucks.
