I remember when the iPad first came out, people talked about a more "immersive" experience vs. a PC.

As I'm gradually moving my main workflow over to my 10.5 Pro, I'm actually liking doing everyday tasks more. The feeling of the muilti-touch activities, plus the fact I'm doing everything on something so small and so light that I can take it anywhere without a thought, makes it even more appealing. Such great power in such a small device!!

So far, I'm enjoying the migration. Still a few things that I need to fall back on to my Air, but I'm quite confident in taking my 10.5 Pro on any trip and leaving the Air behind.

Yep--same here. I have converted all the following tasks to my iPad Pro:

Podcasting
Creating music scores and recordings
Long form writing (with ASK)
Sketching/Drawing/Painting with Pencil (something I was never able to do with a Mac in the first place)
Email for work and personal use
Document creation for work and personal use
Movies/TV/Music/Books
All the other usual "for fun" stuff (games, social media, etc.)

I'm sure I'm forgetting things. But I use my iPad Pro for all my casual stuff AND for more of the power user type stuff I used to do on my Mac. I only still have a Mac at all because my employer requires me to work on their hardware.
