Being paranoid about security, the WPA key file on my wireless network is stupidly long. I've tried entering it into the iPhone so many times, and always end up cocking it up.

Surely there is another way to get the key onto the phone? Perhaps popping it into a certain format of file that you can shove somewhere in iTunes and it gets synced over? ;)

Any suggestions of alternative ways of entering my WPA key?

You can't (yet) copy and paste on the iPhone, so even if you did transfer the key to the phone in a different file, you wouldn't be able to paste it into the wireless login screen.

Either keep trying to enter it by hand, or change it to a shorter key. Mine is 9 characters.

If it's hacked - I bet you could find a plist file somewhere with that information... not sure. Alternately, take you damn time! It'll remember it afterwards... so just take your time. That's what I did.

This was the first time I wished I had copy/paste on the phone. But yes, once I did it the phone remembered it even when I left the network's range.
