Entourage....backgrounds

This question is from my wife (not a big mac fan)....With microsoft Entourage to insert a background image that all recievers can see you have to convert the image to a gif file, but she wanted to know if there is a way to get backgrounds easier, such as in microsoft Outlook you can link to different sites that you can just dowload backgrounds directly that show up in a pull down menu in Outlook. Is this a possibility for Entourage or do we have to go the old route of finding images and converting to gifs?
