Entourage X Slow in Mac OS 10.2

sorry to sound at all condescending... but... did you do the update from a month or 2 ago?

two freinds of mine encountered the same problem (slow while moving msg etc)
but I didn't - working like a charm. the only difference we found, was that
I did a clean install of 10.2, while my friends installed over 10.1.x

Update...
The big question here is whether or not they installed the Office v.X Service Release 1... If so, it actually feels faster in Jag, at least as far as scrolling through the inbox, etc.

I gave up on Entourage when Jaguar when came out, and switched to Mail. And as soon as iCal comes out, I'll give up on Entourage for good.
I've been having trouble with entourage, but I haven't done the service pack yet, just haven't gotten around to it. I'd like to switch over to the apple apps, I like mail a lot, and its very funtional with adresss nd now iChat, hopefully this will continue with iCal.
One thing though, does anyone know if I can sync my palm to mail and adress and iCal, or am I just to wait for iSync?

Yes, I did the Service update. I am not a big Microsoft fan but at least they know how to build mail applications. Mail.app (Jaguar's version) is terrible. I do not like how mail.app shows attachments. If you have multiple emails on the same server you can not create separate accounts in order to sent mail through a designated email adddress (and yes I have all my email going to one account but I respond using the appropriate email address). Apple has a long way to come to compete with Microsoft's mail applications. Mail.app does not have the functionality like Outlook or Entourage. If Apple wants people to switch from Winblows to Macs or even use their new software like mail.app then they have to offer the same functionality as their competitors and then some.
