macOS Enumerate browsers

Hello,

I am trying to programatically detect the browsers installed on my mac. Although I can do this by enumerating the applications folder and checking if the .app name matches with any of the Mac OS internet browsers. I want to know if there are any other possible ways of doing this? Suggestions are welcome!

Would you not be better asking Launch Services? I assume you can!

Yes, it should be able to tell you all the applications that are registered to handle a particular thing (document or URL).
