The other day I bought Series 6 of Top Gear. I watched the first episode, went to work, came home, and watched the second. I went to work again and my wife watched most of the rest of the season. This is all on the Apple TV.

This morning, I came home from work and sat down to watch more of that series but couldn't. Only Ep. 1 is showing up on the Apple TV. So, I checked iTunes and found that everything from Ep. 2 onwards is grayed out and won't play. Next to each of them is a circle with arrows going around in it but I can't click on any of them to get them to re-download or whatever those things are suggesting.

What's going on here? I've done some searching but none of the results have had any success in helping.

I have the same problem.
I converted season 1 of How I Met Your Mother.
Watched it on ATV2 - no problem
A day later, not on ATV2, not on iTunes, however, the files are in the Itunes folder. I tried to add to library. Nothing.

Ripped with MTR4
Converted Handbrake using Apple Universal
Tagged with iFlicks.
