I have this flatbed scanner and am experimenting with updating my MacOS to Big Sur (BS). Evidently, Epson does not support BS and doesn't plan to for the V700. Their support site says to download ICA Scanner Driver in order to use Apple's Image Capture App. While this works, it is seriously deficient compared to Epson Scan capabilities in MacOS Mojave. I've also downloaded Epson Scan 2, but it doesn't recognize the V700.

Is this a situation where it's either one or the other, i.e. keep the V700 and MacOS Mojave, or look for an equivalent scanner that is supported in BS? Or maybe a third party software driver like VueScan or SilverFast? Any advice or experience?

Thanks cobra521; I missed that link earlier. This looks more like it. It does recognize the V700, appears to have the same scan features as the older Epson Scan app and works in Big Sur. I'm good!
