ePub metadata retriever?

Just wondering if there is some kind of app which can retrieve ePub metadata off the internet.

A while ago lost all of my ePubs folder and when finally able to retrieve it off the iBook storage the titles got messed up by apparently casual strings and now it's a nightmare to manually edit them all to fix the title and author at least and as such wondering if there is any app to do what MetaMovie does for video files, drag and drop a file inside the app which tries to id it with online databases.

Yep, did that, unfortunately many of my ePub files seem like having lost metadata, what a mess...
