Hi. Wasnt sure if I should post here or in general macos-- but here goes.

I have many ePub files and I need to search them for specific text/text strings. Spotlight doesn't search inside epub files. I tried Alfred, but didnt see an option to search in epub files. Any suggestions or? Thanks!

You can use Calibre which offers search.
Or ou can do this from the terminal:

grep -s word-you-look-for /folder_with_ePubs/*

or

grep -s "my long search phrase" /folder_with_ePubs/*

will search all ePubs in the folder for a single word or a phrase and list them.
