Purchasing the Adobe CC, just seems very expensive for me. So i guess i need to find equivalent applications to Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign in order to work on. Are there equivalent apps that provide the same results as the CCapps but do not have yearly expenses (i prefer the good old days that you would only purchase an app once, for life time) ?

Apart Affinity that looks great, are there any other apps that can replace Photoshop, or Indesign?

I just mostly use the iPad. Youd be surprised how simply it is to ma igate and how much can be done using apps such as iMovie, Artstudio Pro and Procreate/Assembly on it. Sometimes its better to master something with fewer commands or less options and know all the filters and options inside out then get i to a robust desktop program you only use 20% of its features anyway and take longer, have a bigger headache and pay more.

I've not used Photoshop or Illustrator for Product Design work (apps/websites etc) since I started using Sketch (https://www.sketchapp.com/) around 7 years ago.

Adobe responded by releasing XD and adding some of the features to Photoshop and Illustrator. But really even back then I was getting frustrated with the increasing bloat and less-optimised nature of the products.

Not looked back since, never once felt I was missing out.
