Hi!

I'm wondering if someone can help me figure out if there is a way to erase all content on my iPhone and start as new, but load the saved game data and app data without losing any data for anything on my iPhone.

Any and all information would be helpful.

Thanks,

Mark

You can create a backup (via iTunes or
iCloud) and then restore that backup after you clean everything out.

Well, some issues my phone is having leads me to believe there is something in the backup that's causing these issues. I would like to erase everything, start as new, and reload games and apps back on, but without losing the data from them. So, no lost game saves, notes, documents, etc. Is that possible?

Thanks again,

m

If you wipe the phone, by definition, everything gets deleted. The Apple/iOS restore process is an all or nothing experience. You could make sure you have a good back up, wipe the phone and start fresh for a day or so to see if that resolved your issues, and then have the option to restore - but for every hour that goes by, the backup becomes more and more "stale" - messages, etc.

There are some third party apps that will extract parts of the backup, with the possibility of restoring them, but I have no experience with them.
