Hi! I'm a proud owner of a new MacBook and want to now use it as the computer I sync my iPhone with. The only catch is that the iPhone was unlocked a little over a year ago with ZiPhone. If I plug it into the new computer and erase all content will that mess it up or ONLY erase the content? Is there any way I can do this while keeping all my SMS messages etc...? If not does anyone know of any decent programs that can copy the SMS' over? Thanks.

Please don't bump threads. If you backup your jailbroken phone on the new MacBook (Congrats, I got my new MacBook yesterday too), you should be able to update it to 2.2.1, and run quickpwn and reunlock it. Really simple.

**Stay away from ziphone, it can cause damage to your phone. Only use Pwnage tool which is great for unlocking/jailbreaking at the same time, or use quickpwn.***
