Hey guys. I downloaded Mountain Lion again and made a bootable USB drive in order to clean install OS X 10.8; however I need to recover my free space on the USB. I tried "Erasing" the flash drive using Disk Utility but it now says that my USB thumbdrive has 200MB of free space (!) while it's a 16GB device. How can I completely erase it and eventually be able to use my USB as I could before (like you know dragging powerpoint and word files in it, etc.)

Make sure when you erase you click on the drive name like Sandisk 16GB or whatever and not the partition below it.
