erepublik is a pretty good MMO game i play. Usually the funnest/best part of it though is the forum community things associated with it because a lot of people say in game mechanics arent as good as they used to be.
personally im in america and in the UIP (party) though you cant join parties(or fight, and several other things) until you are at a center level and it takes about a week to get to that level
you could always join the forums of that party before you actually join it there
