I had a few people recomend I run the Apple Hardware Test since OSX was acting... weird to say the least.

Well I just tried and it froze (completely, can't stop, doesn't move, apple + . doesn't work), at 5 minutes 15 seconds. Fans revved up to maximum and nothing is happening.

I gotta leave the house in a sec, should I just leave it run or force-shut it down?

EDIT: I just glanced over it again and the test stopped and it's responding, I let it run again, god I hope there aren't problems, it's at 24 Minutes now, disregard.

It actually tells you that it's meant to freeze momentarily as it tests certain components (RAM from memory). Run it again and leave it alone this time. :)
