Error 3014 When Restoring

Hey all,

I have an iPhone 3Gs and I'm trying to upgrade to IOS this morning. Whenever I try to upgrade, it doesn't install and keeps telling me that I'm getting Error 3014. What error is this? Anyone else having the same problems?

I get this as well, since it occurs when trying to verify with Apple's servers...they are getting hammered and I just gotta keep trying.

I am honestly not sure what it is....but since it fails at verifying with Apple...I am assuming it is an issue with their servers.

i hope so... ill probably wait till tomorrow to update it cuase right now it doesn't seem to be working actually got the error while i was typing this post

I don't know if it is a coincidence or not...I did the following and it restoring just fine now.

1) removed saurik's server from my hosts file
2) Uninstalled iTunes, redownloaded and reinstalled
3) Uninstalled the Apple mobile device support
