Error 402636789 while upgrading iPad

I keep getting this error when trying to install IOS 5 on my iPad. My iPhone upgraded fine. This error pops up during the backup stage. I have tried several times and it pops up every time. I have never seen it before.

Happened to me. I made sure I backed up my iPad before hand.
Continued with the update although it did wipe my iPad.

Had to restore from back up.
