I have a cMP (specs below) that I've been running OCLP Monterey for a few months.

Recently, when trying to sync my iPhone 15, I encountered this error:

Googling it, I found some suggestions, but no definitive fixes.

Here's what I've done so far to isolate the issue:

1. Tried different devices (iPhone 5, iPhone 8, iPad Pro). All encounter the same issue.
2. Signed out of iCloud and back in on both Mac and device. Encounter error.
3. Deleted Music Folder and re-created it by restarting Music. Encounter error, but also noticed that error occurs when trying to open device in Music as well as Finder.
4. Connected device cable straight to cMP. Encounter error.
5. Installed OCLP with Spoofing set to both Minimal and None. Encounter error.
6. Opened Photos and tried to sync with device. Works fine, no error.
7. Created a new account and did not sign into iCloud. Works fine, no error.
8. Tried on another cMP running Sequoia on an account not signed into iCloud. Works fine, no error.
9. Attempted to reinstall Monterey. Booted into Recovery mode, but got an error than the Recovery server wasn't available. Will try again in a while.
[Edit] 10. Tested iMazing. Works fine, no error.

I don't know whether it's related, but I noticed a couple of other odd behaviors that occurred around the same time.
  • My AppleTV started having an error connecting to Media Sharing on my cMP.
  • After the last sync on my iPhone, all my Playlists were gone from my iPhone. The Music app on the cMP still appears to work fine.
So, any thoughts on what I could try next to either isolate or eliminate the issue?

Have you done a recent update of phone OS ? I believe it is not essential but has a bunch of AI stuff in it.

Some, but not all, yet all have the issue.

Currently:
iPhone 5: 10.3.4 (Last available)
iPhone 8: 16.7.10 (Last available)
iPhone 15: 18.1
iPad Pro: 17.7.1 (Last available)
