Hello all.... I was hoping to see if anyone else is having the same problem that I am having. I am trying to cancel my 3G Unlimited Data plan and I am receiving an error stating "We are sorry but AT&T is unable to process your request at this time" Please try again later (C30001282002) I have been trying for the last three days to cancel and it always fails. Whats the deal?? Anyone else try this yet?

If you do cancel the service does it let you finish out your pre-paid month or cut you off on the spot?

I believe the at&t policy is that you will have access to the service until the end of your pre-paid period. Otherwise they would have to refund you the pro-rated amount of money for the service you have not used - which they won't do.

I signed up for my vacation and canceled it the other day.

It gives you two options, one to cancel immediately and one to stop billing and cancel at the end.

Least thats how I took the two options.

You don't remember the pain from a month ago when everyone was getting similar errors just trying to sign up for service?
 
So can you activate and de-activate as you wish? I live abroad but visit the US. I would like to activate 3G when I travel there and de-activate when I return home. How does this work?

It works very simply through Settings > Cellular Data. You sign up for the service you want and then cancel any time before it auto-renews. Piece of cake.
