Hi there... I have an iMac 2.66 Ghz intel Core 2 duo with 2gb 800 Mhz Ram... The issue is that I'm having trouble to burn dvds... I ran the Hardware Test twice and the first time I got the error code 4MOT/2/40000004,HDD-1485 and the second time I got 4MOT/2/40000004:HDD-1401 Can anybody tell me what's the meaning of this error? Thanks in advance, I appreciate it a lot.

Now its error code 4MOT/2/40000004:HDD-1353

I ran the apple hardware test for the third time and this is the new error code i got... 4MOT/2/40000004:HDD-1353 What does it means? And how much will it be the repair? Thanks again

This error code is related to HDD fan. Check fan's rpm and HDD temperature, with iStat or something similar.

iStat Results

Hi, I ran the iStat and these are the results

HD: MACINTOSH 48ºC
CPU 44º
CPU HEATSINK 43º
AIRPORT CARD 58º
AMBIENT 24º
GPU 54º
GPU DIODE 57º
GPU HEATSINK 55º

FANS
CPU FANS 1197-1200RPM
HARD DRIVE 1289rmp
OPTICAL DRIVE 997RPM

Are these results in a good range or is it something wrong?

Thanks for your answer
