Downloaded LOST episodes will not play!

Only a gray box is displayed, no video, no audio.

Anyone else tried other videos from the iTMS yet?

You didn't read the dialog about 7.0.3 when you started iTunes 6 for the first time, apparently.

Software update is showing me no quicktime 7.0.3, and the apple support website returns no results when searching "7.0.3". How have you all downloaded it already?

7.0.3 not available

My Software update isn't picking up 7.0.3 nor can I find it on Apple's website.

Does someone have 7.0.3?

I saw the message and assumed that Quicktime would pick up the update...This SUCKS!

I need to watch the episode #3 of lost before tonight's episode so I can catch up!!!

By the way, Apple rules for doing this...I cant wait to get my fav. shows on my computer...

Cartoon network needs to jump on this bandwagon...Ive got kids, and I would love to get some shows for them to watch on the laptop...especially shows like:

1. The backyardigans - This show is amazing if you have kids between 2-5
2. Justice League Unlimited - best storyline in a superhero series period
3. Go Diego Go! - Its about time they got a boy version to Dora ... Im sorry but ever since my son turned 4, Dora is not what he wants to relate to...

We went through this in the past when Apple released support for videos and HD content using the H.264 codec. The QuickTime update should be available later this week but possibly as soon as a few hours.

UPDATE: Quicktime 7.0.3 is available for download at quicktime.com. It's not an update but a full installer, so it looks like you dial-uppers are out of luck for a while, until they get it into software update.

I downloaded for 3 or 4 hours ago, just go to quicktime section on apple website, then choose free download, you should get dmg file named "QuickTimeInstallerX" its about 32mb and need restart after installation ;)

Man, you people are speedy. Already buying TV episodes just hours after the service goes live. Apple thanks you. :)

I wouldn't have if not for the availability of Lost...

Are the TV Episodes at 640x480 or 3220x240 or some other resolution?

The Lost Episodes are 320x240, and no, there are no commercials. Each episode is roughly 200mb.

It looks really great for the size. I'm excited to see how it looks on my new 60gb iPod...

That's so cool. Now I need to save some $$ to get the new iPod so I can take the videos with me :D

LOL. I was thinking the same thing, can't wait for Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon to jump in. My 4 year old is into Teen Titans now, but he still tolerates his little brother watching Diego or Dora. I would pay $2/episode just to get those shows off the Tivo.

I hope that HBO also signs up, since they have the best shows on TV which I don't get to watch anymore unless the kids are asleep.

Perhaps the fact that the earliest offerings are ABC/Disney and Pixar has something to do with the Disney/Pixar has something to do with the ongoing discussions between them and their relationship moving forwards.
