Error message when making a payment to my Apple card

Was trying to make a small payment of $10.25 - using it from my Apple Cash Card but keep getting this error message.

It hasn't happened to me. I just answered your question on the basis that probably very many people have signed up for the Apple Card and the likelihood that someone else has received the same error as you is likely very high.

Chances are you experienced a temporary glitch. Try again tomorrow or Monday and it'll be fine.

For those wondering, I was able to fix the issue by linking a bank account and then manually agreeing to the Apple Pay new T&C’s.

I was then able to pay my card balance.

I had to read the new Terms and Conditions and also add a bank account in case my Apple Cash doesn’t have a balance.
