'Error mingling data' while syncing?

Whenever I try and sync contacts (it worked the first time, hasn't ever since) i get an error that says, "Itunes cannot sync the contents because an error occurred while mingling data"

This is REALLY a problem...any ideas?

I tried posting in the help section but no one responded. Thanks in advance.
