Just bought a used 10.5 pro very cheap but turns out the screen is faulty. About 1/4 has a different shade. It’s most noticeable on white background when booting up or in calendar app.

Anyone know what causes this and is it fixable? Can a new screen make it ok and would such error be covered under warranty directly from Apple?

Update it and see if that will fix it. If it doesn't correct itself take it back to Apple and get a new one.

I had a problem with my iPad screen once and had Apple replace it. It was basically a software issue which can't be fixed in store.

Thanks guys. It will be replaced, so I’m very happy. Looking forward to receiving the exchanged unit :)
