"Provides support for switching between Mac OS X and Windows has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I get this error every time i start up windows xp in bootcamp.

Any ideas?

I was told windows works seamlessly with the new mac pro. Getting this mac pro is proving to be a whole lot of hassle. I've spent the last week and a day full-time trying to sort out these errors. Getting bit sick and tired and frankly, running out of time! Thank you apple!

does no one have any ideas?

apple just tell me they don't support windows - even though this is a problem with an apple driver/software they designed to run in windows. This is very different to what the sales team told me when purchasing!

I'm now on the phone with Apple.

This is an error with one of Apple's bootcamp drivers.

Incredibly, Apple are blaming the fault on a 'faulty copy of windows'.

I have tried installing another licensed copy of windows on the machine, and it still gives the same apple driver error. Yet incredibly, they are still blaming windows.

I have tried installing windows on various PCs here - from the same CD - and it works fine without errors (obviously, since there are no apple drivers installed) - yet apple are still blaming windows!

ahhh... what to do. You pay so much more for an apple mac pro, and so much more again for 3 years of apple care, for what feels like nothing.

It's not essential, just irritating to have to dismiss this error every time I start up windows on my mac pro.
