error: unable to find splash resources (???)

I was trying to install Age of Mythology on my iMac and about halfway thru the installation, this error appeared. I have searched around the internet and found nothing that seems to address this issue.

Any ideas how to solve this? All help is greatly appreciated...

So I'm guessing the lack of replies indicates nobody has ever heard of this?

It's likely to be a error specific to your program. "Splash" is a term commonly used for the opening screen graphics of a program.

I would delete all parts of the program from your hard drive, restart, and retry the installation, If it still doesn't work, then your program CD is either defective or incompatible with your particular OS.
