Error when opening Messages

Whenever I try opening Messages I get this error:



I click Quit, the program exits and if I re-open it, same error.

I'm on 10.8.2 MacPro early 2008 2x2.8.

Anyone else had this problem?

Also happens with Facetime. Same error just Facetime in place of Messages.

Anyone?

Are you able to get into either one far enough to open preferences?

Nope.

Messages quickly shows that message.

Facetime the menu comes up but Preferences is greyed out
