while dialing *#307# and pressing call button.. iphone says "Please Wait" and then says "error performing request .. unknown error".. it gives dismiss option..

i was getting this sometimes too. try shutting the phone off then turn it back on, if that doesent work re-downgrade
do u keep it connected to laptop or disconnect it..

independance. it didnt work the first time, i had to downgrade to 1.1.1 2 times to get it to work tho. i had it connected but i dont think it matters.

i tried again to downgrade to 1.1.1 but got error in iNdependence -- Connection failed: Couldn't get baseband version.

im not sure, i didnt have that problem. downgrade to 1.1.1 in itunes. then while on the screen with the wire and the itunes icon, run independance and dont click anything wait 1 minute and see what happenes
