I had linked Apple Wallet Discover Card to my Discover account a few months ago. About a month ago it stopped working and told me I needed to reconnect. All attempts to reconnect have failed though. I get to the part where I need to accept the TOS, but once I tap agree I get an error stating:

“Hmmm. Something's not right.

Don't worry. You didn't do anything wrong. It looks like we're having some technical issues on our end.
We're working to resolve this as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience.”

I figured there was an error so I waited a couple of weeks and tried again and got the same error. I tried completely disconnecting my account but I get the same error trying to link.

Is anyone else having issue linking to Discover?

So if anyone else runs into this problem, what I had to do was log into the Discover card web site, go to Security -> third party access and deny consent to Apple. After I did that I could relink and it worked.

Apparently you can’t relink if already linked.
