I was wondering whether anyone has got experience with these products, both in terms of quality and compatibility with the Mac pro:

You will want to go with FirmTek's eSATA card. So far it's the only one that is stable.

We discussed this in that thread and I am approaching 3 weeks w/o a SATA related kp. Using the cheaper cards I was getting them multiple times a day, sometimes a few in an hour.
