I've always been a Monkey Island fan and I recently bought Tales of Monkey Island as part of a Macheist bundle.

I've also got Monkey Island 1, 2 and 3 on SCUMM VM.

However, MI4 is the big absent here.
Now, there are several possibilities. Play the Mac version, but for that I'd need Sheepshaver or another Classic OS emulator to run on an Intel Mac. Or I could run it in Virtualbox XP. Or in Bootcamp Vista (which I'd rather not do because I'd like to avoid having to reboot).

Or I could take the easy way and just get the PS2 version instead.

So, which way would be best for me to run MI4 ?

The game is fairly old and has low requirements, you should be fine running in VirtualBox XP. I'd try that first, and failing that, just deal with rebooting or play it on a playstation, whichever is cheaper

You might also try downloading the demo of Crossover Games and see how well it runs there.
