Hi Guys

I've been following the forum for a while and had some great tips and advice reading through the threads and was wondering if someone has come across this issue?

I have a vodafone esim which i was using on an iPhone 11 running IOS 14 and i am trying to remove the data plan so i can resell the phone. I manually delete the plan from the phone then factory reset the device choosing to erase all content and settings and when the phone restarts and I go through the setup the plan shows up as an available data plan to activate on the phone.

I have tried multiple ways of wiping such as DFU mode through itunes, just selecting erase all content and settings and telling the phone to remove the data plan but again when i go through the initial setup it is showing my vodafone data plan as available to setup.

I also had a look on the apple support site and followed their instructions and followed them. Some advise would be much appreciated.

Thanks

If I remember correctly, one time I was having this issue and I basically had to reactivate the eSIM with a random plan and I was then able to delete it the right way so it stayed off
