Just tried it and it worked fine. When I went there I was prompted at first to enter the regular site or the mobile site. I chose regular site and went there just fine.

The full site works fine for me. Even the videos play, which is surprising because I thought they were using Flash. There are a few things where you don't get the full experience, like Gamecast with the field/court graphics, but most everything works pretty well. I just wish ESPN would change or upgrade their forum engine because it is horrible. They use some clunky, Mac-hostile, custom thing that is way worse than off the shelf engines like vBulletin, phpBB, and others.

Expect ABC, EPSN, DISNEY or anything where Apple has a stake in the company to have a HTML5 setup for ipad.

Props to cbs.

Shame on you NBC.

NBC's site does have video that works on the ipad, yet its only accessable through their mobile site. When I go to NBC.com on my ipad the mobile site comes up and the videos all work, but the site itself looks horrible, since its designed for the iphone.

Since they have the video in ipad compatible formats, I don't see why they can't just tweek it a little and make the full site come up on the ipad, and then when you click on the videos, it redirects you to the ipad compatible videos.
