I listen to espn radio daily on my iPhone through one of the radio apps. I have been hearing an advertisement for an ESPN Radio iPhone app that is there own app and allows for more ease of you and stuff. They say it is coming September but no date. I have searched and searched and can't find any information about the app.

Does anyone know anymore details about the app??

First I've heard of it, but not surprising. I have Sirius, so I can listen from the iPhone already.

I'm with you on this...love ESPN radio and can't wait for the app...I'm guessing it'll be released sometime this month. Possibly, next week/weekend once the NFL season kicks off.

I'm listening today and heard a new promo for it. So hopefully it is soon. I would like to think they would get it out before football starts but I don't know that it will.

It's here!!!

Finally the ESPN Radio app is out. Just downloaded it and it looks pretty sweet!!

Curious what radio apps you are using to listen to sports radio and espn radio.

Thanks

I have Sirius for ESPN radio but I use ooTunes to catch games out of my area. I was able to listen to the USC/Ohio State game a week ago when I wasn't home. There are plenty of online radio apps I like ooTunes but I've also heard Wunder radio is really good as well.

The link below takes you to the app that I used before to listen to ESPN radio. It has tons of sports channels and lots of other radio stations available. This app was and still is really good. I would and have recommended it to lots of people looking for a good radio app.

I have now moved to their new app (which is very nice) and has a lot more cool features. Well worth the $2.99 price tag!!

ootunes or wunder radio will get you thousands of stations fm and am. So for sports fans you can listen to other teams home stations, get east coast feeds for sports talk, listen to just about any game i can think of. They are not free but there worth it, check out either one.

When on earth will ESPN release that app they had in beta last March with PUSH alerts and video highlights? That looked great, but so far all we have in that crappy Scorecast which lacks push or video, and most of the information you want makes you go to mobileESPN on Safari.

I stopped waiting on the updated ESPN app with push alerts. Sportacular is not as polished as the ScoreCenter app but it works great. ScoreCenter is the slowest and most worthless app I have ever seen.

I downloaded the ESPN app and I love it. It works great, so far. If I could find a similar app for Fox News (the audio feed of the television broadcast, like on Sirius/XM) I'd be extremely happy - mainly because I could then drop my satellite radio subscriptions and not be missing out on anything I normally listen to in the car.

Can anyone list the 15 stations they have? Can't seem to find any info if the DC area station (ESPN 980) is included.
