WTF!

I have an ipod 64 GB 3G with 54 GB on (lots of photos, music, videos and comic) after 24 hours i'm still at 10 GB backed up. The calculated backup hour estimate will be something between 80-100 hours

:-(

All "tips 'n tricks" from delete old backup to use original cable only doesn't work. Using iTunes 9.2

Now i'm seeking alternative backup solutions

remove the comics. and basically all apps which creates a lot of small files.

sure i can do that but for what is the backup for? huh?
Delete data to speed things up? Not what i expected.
By the way i was sneeking in the backup folder and open a .info file then i've seen that now the pictures are backup up. Yes i can remove the pictures.......
But again, for what is the backup function implemented?
