I'm wondering what kinds of estimates Apple is giving people for the SSD+HDD iMacs--if they are all the same or differ based on what you ordered/when you placed the order.

I ordered the high-end 27" with the upgrades to i7, 2GB VRAM, and the 256 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD. My order was placed yesterday morning at 6:10 PDT.

I'm being told estimated shipping date is June 15 with delivery on June 17 (I chose 2-day shipping).

Anyone else?

Mine is still as it was when I ordered yesterday:
Ships: Jun 15
Delivers: Jun 22

Here in Switzerland it did quote 4-6 weeks
that and the steep pricetag held me back from going SSD, I think or hope to buy a faster Thunderbolt SSD at the end of this year

I wouder if it has somesthing to do with LION beeing more SSD firendly

I ordered mine at around 5:00 pm EST and it shows the following:

Ships: Jun 16
Delivers Jun 23 by Standard Shipping

I guess I will have to wait. I know apple usually shows this as the worst cases scenario...I hope!

I actually just called apple to inquire about switching from a magic mouse to a trackpad. I decided to stick with the mouse, but she was nice enough to give me free upgraded next day shipping per my super-nice request. So I saved a few days and bucks:

Does anyone know if the shipping dates will get updated before they switch over to "prepared for shipping" or whatever it is?

In other words, is it possible that next week the shipping date will get bumped up a week or two, or one day will we just find that the shipment is being sent out ahead of schedule?
