Could anybody hazard a guess as to the arrival date of 10.8.3? I'd seen that it had been released to beta and was wondering if based on previous releases it would be possible to predict (roughly) how long before it gets final release?

I was told b a mac 'genius' that I should wait for the next update to fix my rubbish MacBook battery life so am chomping at the bit for it to be released!

Thanks

:) look, I know that no one knows when it will be released. I'm not asking for a date.
All I'm asking is if there tends to be a rough turnaround time that these updates usually take. If the answer is no - then fine. I'm simply wondering.

The mac 'genius' at the store told me that I should wait for an update to fix my mac (which is still under warranty). If I'm going to have to wait until next year then ill just go in and ask for one that works!

Sorry - we dont know when 10.8.3 will be go out.

I am all for you going to the Apple store and getting a different Mac.

A 'genius' told you to wait for an update to fix your problem???? That's even more stupid advice than what I gave you previously. I'd be going in there now and sorting that **** out...

They just seeded 10.8.3 to developers.

Other than that, it's a guess. I say late January, early February.

I haven't the foggiest idea what there is in 10.8.2 that has crippled your mac to the point of needing a new one with 10.8.3.
