eTextbooks... Inkling?

A while back, there was a start-up company called "Inkling" that was promising to make eTextbooks for iPad (http://www.inkling.com/). However, their twitter and facebook feeds stopped a coupla months ago. Does anyone know if they're still in business?

Or, does anyone know a good eTextbook app/reader/company for iPad? CourseSmart seems clunky and mostly a piece-o-crap.
