I have the USB Network adapter working on an old windows machine with a USB 1 port so i think it will work via a hub as long as its a powered hub, so yes to the Apple monitor but i doubt it would work from a USB keyboard

Yes, you can use the Ethernet Adapter with a USB hub; I've been doing it for quite awhile w/o incident...:)

OK !! that is very very good to know before letting go the 2.k+ euros ....
so it will probbaly work on the hub of the new 24" display.
many thanks

yeah, I've bought it allready and its everytime in use with my mba. it's great because its all-in-one and because its tiny and because there is no nead for external power (but there is an option for external power-in).
In the end I recommend it.

Ok many thanks. It is really a great addition, although not very known that such an adapter can work with a Macbook air.
keyboard / modem and Ethernet at the same time seems therefore not only possible but part of an easy and light solution, in tune with MBair philisophy.
That thing should be marketed by Apple.
